"When I was with Canada Trust in 1999 I was first introduced to and began to work with Johanna. At that time I was the advertising manager overseeing all the Canada Trust, Winter and Fall investment campaigns. When TD Bank acquired Canada Trust in 2000, Johanna was one of only a very few individuals that knew of the merger and was instrumental in facilitating a significant national multi-media campaign announcing the merger. Johanna also played a key role in obtaining the TD Canada Trust account after the merger. She was well respected within the TD Canada Trust marketing team and always brought her A game to the table. I personally enjoyed working with her and appreciated her valuable insight, strategic thinking and innovative media plans she developed and executed. Later in my career (2014) when working as the Director of Advertising for FreshBooks, I reached out to Johanna and hired her as an Advertising Consultant to assist me on an RFP process and agency selection for media, direct response and creative agencies. She was invaluable in this process. She helped develop a scoring criteria and weighting for evaluation of all RFPs and agency pitch presentations as well as providing the recommendation and rationale for the CMO approval on the agency short-lists and contract negotiations. She also consulted on a market test to determine a media mix performance for FreshBooks.
I again hired Johanna two years later in 2016 for further help on an evaluation and recommendation on radio and television media proposals."
